Why do fast food joints flock to poor areas?

Fast food is a common sight on the streets of poor or impoverished neighborhoods. You can't deny that they are lined up in clusters more so; than other neighborhoods. Cheap, unhealthy foods ,and a lack of access to healthy foods are a recipe for most of the heart related deaths in blacks. Is this just the demand of the demographics or are the food establishment to blame?

i think fast food establishments would slow the expandion of their franchises in these neighborhoods if the people curved their eating habits. they are too blame more so than the restaurants
