Act Like A Lady Think Like a Man: The Movie??
Word has it that Screen Gems has recently acquired the rights to turn Steve Harvey's book into a feature, reports Variety. Steve wrote this book as a guide of advice for women wanting to better understand their male counterparts, which is loosely based on Harvey's syndicated morning radio show segment (Strawberry letter). He has partnered with Will Packer (Obsessed) but, this project may take a while to materialize. Stay tuned...
My only concern is (not being a hater) why do we need this movie? It seems that we have gotten so far from biblical guidelines and life principles that we are now seeking relationship expertise and answers from a comedian? Although, I agree with some of his advice.... I have run across too many female that live and die by this book because of their current state of relationship(s). Sorry, I had to make that plural for some of you.
Obviously if you take the emotions and ungodly strongholds out of most of the messed up relationships; you could make sound decisions. A lot of time we don't want to do right but, we want to get the right results.
Now, this doesn't include deceit from people because it's hard enough being cautious when people are being truthful. Just seek God's word, make good decisions, live righteously, and find your purpose in him. Your relationships will then follow suit. Don't look for answers when you haven't answered his commands.
