Favre: Don't call it a comeback

News Flash! Favre never actually retired last year... Well technically he did after last season... But, all he really did was skip the team training camp and most of the pre-season. I guess those old bones needed more time to heal. I'm not being a hater, it's just time for him to hang up the cleats. The Vikings don't need a guy who takes chances whenever he feels like it. It would be different if he was 25 or something.
I just hate it for the younger guys that actually thought they were competing for a starting job. "Mr. throw the ball up and hope your teammate catches it" really shot their dreams down when he came back in the picture. Seriously, his playing ability has decreased over the years which makes his will a whole lot better than his might. By the way, that doesn't amount to much on the field. Please go out with grace... Don't come back like Jordan, only to be forced out because your glory days have come and gone. It just cheapen the thrill for your fans.
