Keep Club Vision II on your side of town!

Current Midtown residents don't want any parts of the reincarnation of Club Vision.  Actually they would prefer that you keep your loud music, street strolling, littering, loitering, and crime filled intentions on your side of town.

Actually, I am being a little sarcastic... Well, not really.  Some may say that this is a racially motivated campaign by the midtown residents.  I understand completely.  But, I always like to look at the other side of things...

At least, they are taking ownership of the community.  On the flip-side, when was the last time you saw your people protest against the umpteenth liquor store within a 5 mile radius??  Or, actually took an active stance on what businesses come into their community.  Most people have no idea what to actually do to discourage an unwanted business in their community.  I respect these residents for what they stand for and what they are actively doing.

Now, is all of this directed towards African Americans??  Absolutely it is.  Now, do I believe they are wrong for doing it??  Absolutely NOT.  It's their community... Let them be.  Besides, there are almost more night spots as there are churches.  Pick your poison.

moving to midtown and complaining about clubs is like moving to the amazon and complaining about the rain. some things you just need to expect and prepare yourself for.

i agree w/ winston... if you move to the city; you got to deal with all that the city has to offer. move to the country if its too much for you.
