                10 things I think.....

1) It's only a matter of time before the "big boys" go after Washington Husky head coach Steve Sarkisian. Maybe as soon as this off-season....

2) Florida Gator head coach Urban Meyer and Tennessee Volunteer head coach Lane Kiffin won't be going to lunch together anytime soon....

3) USC Trojan head coach Pete Carroll is really wishing former QB Mark Sanchez would have stayed in school for this season....

4) The Cleveland Browns are a bad football team right now.....REALLY BAD....

5) Tom Brady doesn't have any confidence in the knee that he injured last year and it's affecting his play....

6) Miami Dolphin'sTed Ginn Jr is a #2 wide receiver in the league right now....being forced to be a #1....

7) Darrelle Revis is making a case for being one of the top cornerbacks in the NFL.....Just ask Andre Johnson and Randy Moss....

8) Tennessee's Eric Berry is the best college safety since the late great Sean Taylor....

9) Floyd Mayweather Jr's boxing lay off didn't affect him one bit....He may be better now than before he retired....

10) Miami Hurricanes QB Jacory Harris might be a heisman candidate at this pace.....probably sooner rather than later....

i just found out this weekend that Willingham wasnt the coach at U-Dub. I must've missed that one.

i dont think that Lane Kiffin will be going to lunch with any of the sec coaches... i think they will all band against him because of his comments.

every team has to deal with rebuilding including Pete Caroll. i think usc has had a good ride but, now they are going to finally find out what its like to compete within their conference.

As for Ginn, he's just experiencing growing pains early. i hope he can step up to the plate by next year. i just hate to see speed go to waste.

Cberry, I agree on USC. They just aren't as dominant this year and will get challenged in the PAC-10 this year. I wouldn't be surprised if they lost another game or two.

I'm an Ohio State fan so no one is rooting for Ted Ginn more than I am. A few things need to happen. He needs to be more physical. It also wouldn't hurt if he had a QB that can get the ball downfield. They are limiting a huge part of his game by not airing it out deep.

It too early to tell for the hurricanes we will know for sure in the next couple of weeks. Jacory harris is ok from what I've seen but, he is surrounded by a lot of great athletes. I'd like to see the matchup against a good solid defense.

Agreed Matt. No one in the country has a harder schedule than Miami. Florida State week 1, Georgia Tech week 2, Oklahoma week 3 and Virginia Tech week 4, and that's just the first 4 games! If they make it through that stretch they'll be top 5 and Jacory Harris should get Heisman consideration. True, he is surrounded by a lot of great athletes, but I feel the same way about Tim Tebow at Florida.

now we all see that Jacory Harris was anointed too early. he's still a good athlete but, he's two season's away from heisman consideration. as far as miami, they just got flat out whipped.

C'mon. can we get 10 more things that matter? Huskies? Lucky win! How many of us really thought Mayweather would lose, and that's putting all bets aside? Marquez betted against himself and his piss that day. Miami is young. One mistake and one of their games is over. Next season, it may begin again b/c Shannon is one of the best in college football. More importantly, Y ARE THE CLEVELAND BROWNS AND TED GINN BEING MENTIONED? We could've talked about Mario Manningham's performance against the Cowboys. We could've said how Mike Singletary got the Niners undefeated, but those 2 topics out of 10? D.Goard, what is your problem? How can I be a writer w/you? Teach me how to waste our time.

Lol, Mr.Deez Nuts, you are quickly becoming on my favorite posters on the site. Walk with me sir and I think I may have answers to your questions. The Washington Huskies gave LSU, who also happens to be a top 10 team, a run for their money in week 1 and beat the Trojans last week. I'd consider that very impressive for team that went 0-12 last season. In one of my previous posts I predicted that Floyd Mayweather would win but that I was interested in seeing how he looked because of the long layoff. I take it you missed that article. True, Miami is young, which is the reason I didn't pick them to win the ACC. Maybe you missed that one too. Truth is, one mistake away goes for everyone in college football. Lol, The Cleveland Browns and Ted Ginn are mentioned because it's true. Are the Cleveland Browns NOT a bad team?? Is Ted Ginn a complete receiver deserving to be #1 receiver?? Mario Mannngham did have a great performance. Kudos to him, and hopefully he can build on that. Just because I didn't mention Mike Singletary doesn't mean he isn't doing a great job. Those were just 10 things that were on my mind that decided to share. You have to understand, that this is just one man's opinion.
