ATL Football Classic: You mean there is a football game going on too??

(UPH) - I pray for grace and safety to those of you who will be enjoying this weekend's festivities in Atlanta. Stay away from the "buck foolery" and refrain from doing anything that Jesus wouldn't do : )

I didn't post a list of this weekend's events this time because I'm sure that you already have a complete run-down. I just don't want to be the bearer of the same news...

Despite all of the "weekend thugs" partying throughout the city, there are actually some good things going on this weekend. They just happen to be saturated at the moment by those capitalizing on this event. It's funny how a club can be closed for an entire year yet, reopens for the B of A Classic. I'm not against partying within reason but, something is wrong when this weekend's scheduled events are overwhelmingly associated with spending your "stacks" at the bar. The great deeds and hard work that the 100 Black Men are putting forth will unfortunately get over-shadowed by the "buck foolery." Oh well, I guess this is the only time that some blacks can collectively organize a reunion. Just kidding... Not really.
