What's up with Usc & oklahoma sneaking back to the top of the college rankings. I'm just saying. Other teams with one loss have fell through the floor.

I agree. I think the poll voters look at the prestige of the school and take that into consideration. It's not really fair, because you've got schools who don't have the same tradtion, and they hold that against them. Just a game of politics in my opinion.

just heard about Stafon's johnson freak accident. that's unfortunate for him. i wonder how it will effect the trojans with him out of the lineup?

Terrible, terrible news. The Trojans might be the deepest school in the country at running back, so if anybody can afford to lose a player at that position, it's SC. I think it may have an effect on the team more so mentally than physically. There were players who actually saw this happen. Saw him coughing up blood. Saw him not being able to speak, so it may be lingering on their minds. I really hope everything turns out alright for this young man.

that must have been a disturbing sight to see. but, i'm with you on the fact that their depth will prevent them from missing a beat. they probably have 4th stringers that can start elsewhere.

Just thinking that Miami will swing back after stinking it up at VTech. Oklahoma will be in for a shock

I'm looking forward to this game as well Mitike. Hopefully Miami puts on a better performance Saturday at home against the Sooners. It'll also be interesting to see if Sam Bradford plays and if his shoulder injury is still affecting him.

The players have an awful lot to do with this. Some of them should take the heat as well. They lost to Detroit on the field not from the sidelines

Agreed. Jim Zorn is on a very short leash right now with the Redskins management. He needs to string together some wins quickly if he expects to keep his job.
