David Letterman dodges extortion plot by jokingly fessing up to his deeds...

(AP-AJC) On Thursday, the "Late Show" host had acknowledged having sex with some of the women who worked for him, and told his viewers he was the victim of a blackmail attempt.
On "SNL," ''Weekend Update" anchor Seth Meyers dubbed the extortion attempt by a CBS News producer "a stupid human trick."
Meyers added that the would-be blackmailer was threatening to reveal embarrassing details of Letterman's personal life, then gave a joking example: "After sex, he would always say, 'Stay tuned for Craig Ferguson.'"
Letterman's fellow TV hosts Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon are among comics who already had zinged him on their shows.
Leno kicked off his monologue Friday by declaring, "If you came here tonight for sex with a talk show host, you've got the wrong studio.
(UPH) I knoooow that I am not alone by thinking that the applauds that Letterman received from his confessions were way out of wack! People in the American culture have just lost all morals when it comes to the institution of marriage. Mistakes do happen but, to applaud him with the idea that he was the victim in this extortion plot?? Maybe they think that it's not a big issue that he fornicated with multiple crew members... Maybe no one cares that he may have committed adultery on his wife... It seems as if the mainstream has taken this as just another one of his crafty jokes. It's just crazy to me...

What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
