10 things I think:

1) Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow doesn't seem ready to play this weekend...

2) Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Sam Bradford's draft stock is going down...

3) Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo seems a little overrated...

4) Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is the league MVP so far...

5) The Anahiem Angels may give the Red Sox some trouble in the playoffs this year...

6) New England Patriots running back Fred Taylor is about as durable as my 2-year old son...

7) 1st round draft pick Michael Crabtree did the right thing by signing with the 49ers...

8) New Boston Celtic Rasheed Wallace is still........Rasheed...

9) Cleveland Cavalier guard Delonte West has some serious issues going on right now...

10) It may finally be time for Florida State's legendary head coach Bobby Bowden to step down...

hey 1 thought. Was I right or was I right about Crabtree? He's so important to the Niners that he got a bigger contract than the 3 picks in front of him and they even brought MC Hammer in to convince him during the negotiations. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! as I said previously, STUPID ORGANIZATION if they didn't sign him.

i dont really think Fla needs Tebow for Lsu. they are over-rated this year. Fla isnt that good either but i will give them the nod over Lsu right now.

Romo has been over-rated for quite sometime. i think his annoiting came from him being undrafted. good player but, not great. his only upside is that he is starting qb for the "boys"

lol, cant disagree about Fred Taylor. wasted potential is all i got to say.

Cabtree has missed most of the season. he better produced or he will get a lot of flack from his holdout. he would really get ridiculed for this stunt. cant wait to see him in action though.

Bobby Bowden hasnt coached in 5years. he is just a figure head. The same as Paterno. I cant believe that people actually think that he is the reason for FSU trouble. blaim it on the coordinators... they are the ones that are doing the play calling

All of the SEC is over rated. BCS Championship will include the University of Cincinnati Bearcats!

SEC is still the best conf. Even with over-rated Florida. Im not sure about your claim for Cincinnati... West Virginia and S Fla are possible contenders in your conf. I would take West Virginia before Cincinnati. But i definitely wouldnt take any of them for the BCS championship.

Just give the Big East and Cincinnati more time. Tonight's game will decide who wins the Big East and goes to a BCS game. But if UC continues this way, then they could be in the championship. Oh and yes Florida is way over rated!

Hope you all saw the game last night. Even with Pike out UC looks good. Watch out top 10, because the Bearcats are coming! Oh and move over OSU (OHIO STATE)! There is a new OHIO team!

I will give you that... They are top 10 material. But, they have a while to go before top 5 consideration. The next few weeks will tell all.

Mitike, jswiss, I love this topic. But bottom line, when it comes to best conferences, you gotta look at the fruit it produces. SEC conference is good b/c they all play the same style of defense. Offenses may be different, but they are all based on speed. So defending it is made easier if your defense is built to stop the run. The best conference as far as pro stlye set today is the Pac 10 and Big 12. Big Ten is close, but they don't have the superstar, big name NFL caliber players that do their thing yr in yr out. Think about it. SEC players on Offense do nothing in the league. Atleast USC or Texas or Oklahoma has bonified beasts nearly every yr in NFL. Big Ten even has Ted Ginn and Mario Manningham starting at receiver for winning teams. Who in the SEC besides Dwayne Bowe is worth mentioning?

Deez you started off fine but, ended in a car wreck. I understand the differences in scheme and formations. That is apparent because of different coaching styles/philosophies amongst the conferences.

But,the SEC has plenty of young productive players in the NFL: Felix Jones, Percy Harvin, Sidney Rice, Knowshon Moreno, Ronnie Brown, etc.. For the most part, USC & Texas have college stars that go to the NFL and stink it up. Mark Sanchez is the only one right now that looks legit. All of the rest are hyped up pretenders. I cant believe that you mentioned Ted (Underachiever) Ginn! I will give you a pass with Manningham though.

mitike, you are right to an extent. keep in mind, I only named starters. Ronnie Brown is the only starter you named. If Felix can stay on the field, i give you him and if Percy can do it after Favre is gone, him too, but I thought Sidney would be a beast! He sure fooled me. Knowshon is yet to be determined as well. I feel the way about him as I did about Sidney 3 yrs ago. Ginn is the perfect slot receiver. On Indianapolis or New England, he's a 80 catch guy. On Miami, 10.

I hear you.. But, Ginn needs more big plays before I can jump on. He has the speed to play wideout so thats what i expect to see from him.

Hopefully Ginn does better now that he has a quarterback that can throw deep and use that part of his game.
