Is Melanie Fiona the new voice for the modern woman?

(UPH)- New Music Tuesday
Melanie Fiona, "The Bridge"

Melanie is coming strong with lyrics that are most often only spoken during "girls' night out."  My take is that her songs are a bit eccentric and self-fulfilling.  But, females that I have come across refer to her as the "inner voice."  Quite frankly, Melanie is drawing quite a buzz with females all over.

Most may know Miss Fiona from her 2008 single "Give it to me right".  Her ear catching lyrics will either offend you or liberate you with verses such as,
"But when I want, when I want it.  You gotta be ready.  I don't want it all the time, But when I get it, I better be satisfied. So give it to me right, Or don't give it to me at all."
Wow... Makes you wonder if most women feel this way but, choose not to express it.  Anyway, you can tell that this is not an album for the men out there.  Honestly, most of us could care less about the content of her songs as we would focus entirely on her looks.  Am I wrong??
