When you walk, you won't be held back; when you run, you won't stumble.


In 1994, Be-Be and Ce-Ce Winans put out a song called "Don't Let Me Walk This Road Alone". Everyone will talk about how their 'walk' with our Father began. As the rule goes; your story could be a blessing to lead another. Your 'walk' could inspire another to follow His word and ways. But, you must remember something. Your walk is not the same as your path. You can share the joys of parenthood, but only you and another are that child's parent. And to take it further...only you are that child's mother or father. Your walk is parenthood, but your path is being a mother or father to that child. I'm saying this to share what was placed on my heart this morning. You can love your family and your closest friends with an unconditional love that transcends time and space, but you can not take them with you on your path. Just as you have your own path; they have theirs as well. Part of your path may be to lend a helping hand to someone along their path. It may even be that your paths are right beside each other. But you both have to respect that although you can 'walk' together; your paths are completely your own. So, the next time that you encounter a situation (good or bad); keep in mind, this is your path and how you handle it determines your outcome. But always remember this...no matter the outcome, no matter the straightness, no matter the forks in the road, and no matter how many times you fall...your Father will always walk with you because YOU are a part of His path.
