2010 NBA Draft Preview

The 2010 NBA draft is just days away. Here's my take on some of the players that will be drafted this Thursday.

Best 5 players:

1) John Wall PG  Kentucky
Maybe the most explosive guard to enter the draft in years. He has the skill set to transend the point guard position.
NBA Comparison: Russell Westbrook with better PG skills

2) Evan Turner SG/PG Ohio State
The most complete player in the draft. Not a "freak" athlete, but does everything well.
NBA  Comparison: Brandon Roy

3) Demarcus Cousins C Kentucky
A complete physical mismatch. Conditioning and maturity are concerns though.
NBA Comparison: A bigger, stronger Al Jefferson

4) Derrick Favors PF Georgia Tech
A super athletic big man. A little raw, but has a huge upside.
NBA Comparison: Antonio McDyess with more upside

5) Wesley Johnson SF Syracuse
A classic small forward with good range on his jumper. Needs to be more play more aggressive and also bulk up some.
NBA Comparison: Shawn Marion...better jumpshot, not as aggressive.

Most Underrated- James Anderson  Oklahoma State

Most Overrated- Cole Aldrich  Kansas

Best Athlete- John Wall  Kentucky

Biggest Risk-  Demarcus Cousins  Kentucky

Safest Pick- Evan Turner  Ohio State

D.Goard Jr.
