School whippings still going on?

What would you do!

Tell me what would you do in this situation.

When watching these videos Parental Discretion is advised.

Murrah High School Basketball Coach in Jackson, MS, Marlon Dorsey, is accused of wrongful use of corporal punishment on students, which is legal according to Mississippi law in cases where parent permission is given, but banned in Jackson Public Schools since 1991.

Dorsey sent a letter to the parents saying that the punishment was issued for a variety of reasons, including disrespecting teachers, stealing cell phones, leaving campus without permission, being late for class and not following the dress code.

In a statement to The Clarion-Ledger, Dorsey said, “I took it upon myself to save these young men from the destruction of self and what society has accepted and become silent to the issues our students are facing on a daily basis. I am deeply remorseful of my actions to help our student.”

Did this basketball coach go too far? Was he actually following the biblical principles?

Did he do his job as a basketball coach?

Are the parents correct for suing?

Let me know your thoughts.
