Top 6 reasons why bad home improvement contractors frustrate me...

1)  You might not be worth my time if I have to give you my address more than twice.  That tells me that you are unorganized and that you are probably stacking more jobs than you can handle. 

2)  Monday and Thursday are not the same day... Do not tell me that you are going to show up on a specific day and blow me off without calling to reschedule.  Don't bother with calling me three days later with an excuse because you have been FIRED!

3)  Do NOT bring anybody over to my house other than the people in your work crew.  Yes, that includes your used car salesman friend that is handing out his business cards to my family.  It is a conflict of interest and I will not call you back.

4)  Don't try and sneak out with my tools pretending that they are your own.  There is a reason that I am watching you pack up and walking you to your truck.  I'm not just being courteous...

5)  I have to believe otherwise if you persist on telling me repeatedly that you will NOT take my money and run.  At that point, I am taking your business license and tag number.  I don't have time for games.

6)  Please be able to do the job that you advertise.  Nothing frustrates me more than a contractor admitting after he has taken a job that he lacks the necessary resources/skills to do the work.  I may give you a head start before I chase you out of my driveway yielding my mallet.  Just playing...not really
