3 Reasons Why Overworking is Bad

Loss of Health: Don't get me wrong...certain situations require you to burn the midnight oil. But, there is no way that you can work 70 hrs a week consistently and have good health to show for it. More than likely you are going to short change yourself on rest and sleep time which isn't a good move. Just think of the years that you are taking off of your life because of inadequate rest... Our bodies weren't designed to operate under this type of abuse.
Lack of motivation: To keep up this pace you have to defy hitting the "wall of burn-out." Sound cliche but, eventually you will crash and burn. This type of work pace will eventually become counter-productive.
Happiness: If you are working this many hours...surely you are neglecting home and social life. Don't let the stress and frustration of long hours rob you of your joy.

1. Stop working so much
2. Take a technology break
3. Block out time for fun
