The weird…
- Apparently, Tupac Shukar is alive and well; living in New Zealand. Okay, not really. But, hackers posted the story on PBS’s News Hour blog in retaliation for what they deemed was a distasteful documentary the network ran about WikiLeaks. Strangely, authorities of the small town that was rumored to house the deceased Hip Hop star reportedly closed down routes to the town, and would neither confirm nor deny the claim. Hmmm…
The feel good…
- Tyrese Gibson is making a niche in the literary world with his new book, “How To Get Out Of Your Own Way”. The book has now made its way mainstream; now being made available at Wal-Mart and Target stores. Congrats Ty.
- Sean Kingston is making a recovery after a terrible Jet Ski accident that put him in ICU. He is now alert and responsive.
- Earl’s release date is slated for early July. That’s right…they’re letting the dawg out. Earl “DMX” Simmons will be released under supervised watch until August.
The feel bad…
- Gil Scott-Heron, who some considered an important role in the progression of Hip Hop, died from undisclosed causes. He was 62 years old.
- Montae “M-Bone” Talbert, of ‘Teach Me How to Dougie’ fame, was shot and killed during an attempted robbery. He was only 22 years old.
The ‘Do we really care?’…
- We are now at 3. The number of stars that state that they were or were not hacked and are flooding our timelines with denials and/or confirmations about their naked pictures.
- Mr. Cee pled guilty for his…um, public indiscretion.
- Lauren London gave another interview stating that her child with Weezy was not a result of a one night stand and that they have known each other for years. I’m curious…is her new claim to fame going to be less about her career as an actress and more about her child’s father? Anyway…
- Amber and Kanye…Amber and Wiz…again…do we really care?
The ‘We knew it was something’…
- Flava Flav admits to 18 years of drug abuse. But, also states that he has been clean for the past 6 years. Um, okay.
And finally ‘I don’t know if you want to do that.’
- Nick Cannon has made it publicly known that he has a problem with Eminem over statements made in reference to Mariah in Em’s songs. Um...forget it. I’m not saying nothing. I don’t know nothing.
