And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the LORD, which am but dust and ashes: (KJV)
No one can ever tell me that my Father does not hear me. No one could ever fix their mouth to say that HE doesn’t know my heart. And no one will be able to convince me that HE is not there for me. When talking about what would seem to be mundane items in the daily conversations of life, HE lets me know that HE is listening. Often this conversation would be something that I prayed about and HE says to me, “I heard you.” or “I hear you”. My skin chills and an indescribable feeling quickly touches my chest; sometimes bringing me to tears. Today was no exception. When things begin to look up in life, the devil will make an appearance to try to rain on your parade. It’s his way of trying to make you think that you will never get to where you are destined to be, put doubt in your spirit, and turn the question of ‘why’ to the Lord. But, you know what? I know I will not falter. I may stumble, but I will not fall. I may not be able to see into the future, but I know that it is secure. You may ask; how does she even know this? It’s very simple. When you have faith…even as small as a mustard seed, and you go to HIM with humility and love; as Mary Mary sang in their 2005 release…HE will “Speak To Me”.
